OUR MISSION

Helping people become Christ centered in their daily lives

WE ASPIRE TO BE...

not a people who have arrived at perfection, but like Paul, continue to "press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us." (Philippians 3:12) We are an imperfect people on a journey of faith — but it is our fervent desire to become all that God has created us to be.

...CHRIST CENTERED

We aspire to be fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ in every facet of daily life. The Bible tells us that "man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." (Deuteronomy 8:3) As "the Word become flesh" (John 1:14) and "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6) Jesus is the perfect manifestation and revelation of every word God has spoken. To be Christ-Centered means that we aspire, as individuals and as a congregation to be defined by the Word of God, both in the person of Jesus and the written Word of Scripture.

...SERVANT MINDED

a great people and a great church. We understand greatness to take the form of servant lifestyles. Jesus said "whoever wants to be great must become the servant of all." (Matthew 20:26) Paul encourages us to "have this attitude in us that was in Christ Jesus, who, though being in very nature God, made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant." (Philippians 2:5-6) We define our greatness by the sacrificial nature of the manner in which we serve one another, our families, our neighbors, our communities, and our world.

...PEOPLE OF PRAYER

to see every facet of our life together saturated with prayer (Matthew 21:13). We understand prayer not only to be the place where our relationship with God is strengthened and enriched; we also understand prayer to be the place where re receive God's direction and wisdom (James 1:5). God's provision for the life He has called us to live (John 15:16), and the power to accomplish what he has called us to do (Mark 9:29).
